[fontforge-users] Can't update version number or Fontlog when I generate new fonts

I'm using the latest FontForge on a Mac with OS X version 10.6.8
When I generate new fonts I can update the version number and add Comments and add text to the FONTLOG in the sfd file and I then generate the font. The information gets updated correctly in the sfd file but the font I generate (a ttf font) doesn't have this information updated and keeps the old version number, comments and FONTLOG . I'm able to update everything else OK including sfnt version.

My mistake. I was setting the version number in PS Names not in TTF names and it was a ttf font I was creating. When I set the version number in ttf names it works fine.
