Hello,
I'm trying to use fontforge for something that it probably wasn't
intended for, but I'd nevertheless like to know whether this is possible
(and if so, how) or not:
I find OSX (terminal) text anti-aliasing to be terrible, especially when
it comes to bright text on dark background. I know there are some knobs
to tune the amount of anti-aliasing performed by OSX but the results are
all really terrible. What I was wondering was whether it's possible to
use fontforge to create a bitmap font of a font that was anti-aliased by
X.
Thanks,
Johannes
