Discussion:
[fontforge-users] Editing bezier curves

New to FontForge, I created a letter then tried
to move the handles to adjust it.

Previously this worked well to get what I wanted.
This time the handles would extend and contract
along their lengths, but I could not move the end
of the handle.

Resolved by deleting the character and starting again.
Is this a setting or just the way I was driving it please?

Not sure Dave.
Something I found after exiting FF, there was a pop-up window
'hidden' (how annoying) which remained, after the app had closed?
Wondered if that had anything to do with it.

Interpolation seems to 'require' user selection in the pop up,
so I guess I would have noticed that?
I had thought my clumsy keyboarding could have set a mode
which caused the problem, hitting C- something in error.

Either way, nice to see the interpolation mode demo'd. Thanks.

Just tested it. With interpolation mode on, I can still move
the handles in a direction other than along the line of the handle,
so it clearly isn't that.

Quite possible, thanks.
The less confusion for new users the better as I see it?
Should I do anything with the URL above?
There are three questions / options?

I agree that the mode line on the status bar can help clarify. (Those are 3

If you are on mac, the X11 system doesn't do a great job of keeping dialogs
to the fore so you can sometimes lose track of them

Also might have been caused by capslock
